Singer/Songwriter Ellie Holcomb hit the red carpet for The Wingfeather Saga premiere in Nashville, Tennessee with two of her three kids, Emmylou and Huck.

We’re super excited for the best-selling book series to come to screen this December. The epic fantasy series for kids, written by Christian recording artist Andrew Peterson, chronicles the adventures of the Igiby family as they uncover family secrets, flee the evil Fangs of Dang, and make a stand against the mysterious ruler, Gnag the Nameless. Think along the lines of the wit of The Princess Bride, the epic world of The Lord of the Rings, and the deep magic of the Narnia series. It also boasts great music and a beautiful painted animation.

Holcomb has been a fan of this book series for over a decade and is currently reading the books with her kids. In fact, her first tour she every did was with Andrew Peterson, “and the reason he asked me on the tour was because I wrote a song based on one of his characters, Podo Helmer (voiced in the series by Kevin McNally of Pirates of the Caribbean fame) from this book.”

We love the full circle of the moment and can’t wait for audiences to experience The Wingfeather Saga when it streams December 2 on Angel Studios App. Plus you can download FREE coloring pages, art and even book club kits.
