SERVE, SMASH AND SHINE – IT’S TENNIS CAMP TIME!
Tennis has been growing over the past years with more than 25 million Americans spending time on the courts. Players under 25 account for a hige increase showing a significant rise in youth participation and San Diego is one of the top cities in the country to play. Our kids have been playing for years and never miss a summer with Cliff Drysdale Tennis at Omni La Costa Resort.

Cliff Drysdale Tennis provides the ultimate tennis experience and an international team of tennis professionals who are certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association across the Omni La Costa’s 8 hard and 4 clay courts (7 of which are lighted).
Bryce Cunningham, Senior Director of Racquets, has been running the camp more than a decade and oversees the management of the tennis program at Omni La Costa Resort. He along with other pros and coaches share instruction, lead drills, play games and encourage competition for kids aged 4-16 years. Cliff Drysdale Tennis Camps run from June 8 through August 21. The 11 weekly sessions are arranged on different courts by age and skill level. With both morning and afternoon sessions, there is always fun being served up on the courts.
Plus if you are looking for play this Spring Break, Tennis Camps are offered now through April 10! Plus pickleball also has camps if that is more your speed!

MUSICAL THEATER CAMPS THAT ARE GOING TO BE GOLDEN
From Wicked to K-Pop Kids, Music Video making to Matilda… kids and teens can explore their love for singing, dancing, acting and musical theatre through creative workshops, rehearsals and performance opportunities at Scripps Performing Arts Academy Summer camps. With Broadway-inspired productions to fun themed camps, these programs encourage kids to express themselves creatively while building confidence and teamwork.
Scripps Performing Arts Academy camps combine expert instruction and imaginative activities and plenty of rehearsal time to put on the full live performance at the end of the week. With solos to choreographed dance numbers, every camper will have their moment to shine. We enjoyed watching our boys and girls take classes over the last few summers. They learned skills like speaking in front of a group of people, having confidence and teamwork, that all translate beyond the stage. At the end of each week, families are invited to attend a special presentation where campers take the stage, demonstrating the skills and creativity they’ve developed throughout the program.

Scripps Performing Arts has different camps for different age groups. The Younger performers (Ages 4– 12) offer a fun and dynamic introduction to singing, dancing, acting, and creative exploration. Campers will also enjoy themed crafts and storytelling activities that foster their imagination. Intermediate and Advanced Students (Ages 13 – 17) can take their craft to the next level in Scripps Performing Arts Academy’s Musical Theatre Conservatory programs.
These camps focus on developing technical skills in ballet, contemporary dance, or theatre. Each day blends rigorous training with collaborative projects to prepare for performances that showcase their talents.
