First hitting the silver screen in 1952, Singin’ in the Rain is getting a makeover arriving in show-stopping 4K Ultra HD as part of the musical masterpiece’s 70th anniversary celebration. Rediscover how it focused on silent movies giving way to talking pictures – and hoofer-turned-matinee idol (Gene Kelly) is caught in that bumpy transition, as are his buddy (Donald O’Connor), prospective ladylove (Debbie Reynolds), and shrewish costar (Jean Hagen).
