New mom Katharine McPhee says she is getting sleep but doesn’t want to boast too much for those struggling with a sleepless newborn. The 36-year-old and husband, David Foster, welcomed baby boy, Rennie David Foster, last month. Friday, McPhee’s new series on Netflix, Country Comfort, streams. She stars opposite Eddie Cibrian as an aspiring young country singer named Bailey who takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau and his five children. With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing. To her surprise, Bailey also gets the band she’s been missing in this musically talented family who help get her back on the road to stardom.

We talked with the duo about the new baby, raising boys, and blending singing with acting… oh and yes, Eddie’s real life wife, Leann Rimes, does come on the show!
