Chris Pratt and Tom Holland are two guys or get the influence of film on families. Holland is best known as Spider-Man and Pratt, you can take your pick — Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy, Emmet from The Lego Movie, or Owen in Jurassic World — we love what he says about the characters he plays:

“It’s an honor and a real blessing. It’s really important, the stories that we tell young people because those stories – as I know because it happened to me – they inform who these young kids become. So being part of a story that is thoughtful and careful in the way it handles relationships… themes of mortality, the loss of a parent, or the introduction of a new parent, or even the fact that we’re losing some magic in this world to technology, it’s really meaningful to be part of something that will hopefully impress upon children, like your own 5 year old son, what’s important.”

Barley (Chris Pratt) and Ian (Tom Holland) as the Lightfoot brothers in Disney/Pixar Onward.

Onward is in theatres Friday, March 6.
