Cedric the Entertainer and his wife, Lorna Wells, have two children: Croix (born 2000) and Lucky Rose (born 2003). When it comes to finding a strategy that works for connecting with his kids, Cedric says it’s about individual meetings.
He has an office in his house where he brings his kids in to have a conversation — individually first, and then together. Cedric says his wife usually preps him with some bullets of what has transpired since he’s been on the road. This strategy, according to Cedric, helps his relationship with his kids as well as building their confidence.
Ice Cube has four children with his wife Kimberly Woodruff and he says his strategy is to share stories with his kids about his youth. He hopes the transparency helps his kids understand that dad does know what they are going through because he experienced something similar at a young age.
