While we will never say “No,” to chocolate on Valentine’s Day, we are sometimes at a lost for gifts that show our friends and family how much we love them. Whether it is a gift for your kiddos, nana, or a friend, we came up with some Valentine’s Day gift ideas and a GIVEAWAY!
For the little girls in your lives-We are in LOVE with Moderne Child! - For the health-conscious-We are just one month out from New Year’s resolutions and while some of us are still going strong, others might need some encouragement. Funktional Wearables are a great idea for a friend who has a Fitbit. They have lots of great covers that range from looking like a piece of jewelry to a fashionable cover. We got to check out the “Love” one and it was a great reminder on our wrist to love others as we went about our day and our workout. You can pair it with a fun cookbook like this one from Freddie Prinze Jr. and you have a great Valentine’s Day gift. Plus, for your health conscious friends, you can’t get them chocolate on Valentine’s Day!
For the sensitive-skin friends-While everyone loves skin care products that smell great, for those that have sensitive skin they often have to use products that don’t contain fragrance. We were introduced to Original Good Goods at the LA Baby Show. They only use natural ingredients and their fragrance comes from essential oils. We used the bath wash within days that’s how much we loved it! Our favorite was the lavender spray lotion. It felt and smelt amazing! For Valentine’s Day, they even have a heart shaped bath bomb.
For your kiddos, nieces/nephews, or friends- Cheeky Days subscription boxes are great! Each monthly box is centered around a theme and contains a book, a craft, a wearable and community cards to engage the family. Plus, they partner with a non-profit. For our box, we loved the mismatch socks that remind us to love and be friends with others even if they might be different from us. Our craft was a photo frame that you make and give away to someone. The non-profit highlight was care boxes for the military. You can take the box, fill it with items listed and send it back with the mailing address included. What a great way to teach your family about giving! A great surprise for Valentine’s Day, birthday or just because!
