NEIGHBORHOOD PARADE & BEACH GAMES
Parades are fun ways to get into the festive spirit and many areas and neighborhoods get all the families together and decorating your wheels are a must! Whether you are headed to Coronado’s annual 4th of July Parade, Poway’s Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration or the neighborhood parade, we love decorating our Veer All-Terrain Cruiser Wagon. Veer Cruisers are great because you can push or pull over a variety of terrain. It folds easily so you can put it in your car and they are lightweight. We love using the Veer Cruiser as our home base especially if we are going to be out for the day. Pack it with sunscreen, snacks, water and of course don’t forget to dazzle it with red white and blue. We used ribbon and decorated the handle. We made a banner and taped it across and then tied ribbon in our wheels. Show off your patriotism in the neighborhood parade or load up the Cruiser with all your gear for the fireworks!

Celebrating America can stretch all the way to your side dishes. One of our favorite dishes to make is a flag charcuterie plate using fruit like strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Another fun dish to have on hand are edible sparklers. Use skewers and put your favorite fruits like cherries, grapes on it. You can cut a melon with a cookie cutter into a star. Put it in the freezer for a cool treat.
