The adventure continues with our most favorite bear Paddington! In the third installment in this beloved franchise Paddington returns to Peru and we can’t wait for all the fun to ensue. It’s an incredible cast with Hugh Bonneville returning as well as voice cast Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton as Paddington and Aunt Lucy respectively. Antonio Banderas, Emily Mortimer, and Olivia Colman join Paddington in Peru and we got the opportunity to see an advance screening. And, we absolutely LOVED the film!
Before the screening we had an amazing time at the Paddington in Peru Pop Up Experience at The Grove in Los Angeles. We got the opportunity to enjoy tea and marmalade cookies at Windsor Gardens Tea Party, we caught up with Paddington and took our chance at a Maze to Peru!
We packed our bags and continued on the adventure which included a stop at Paddington Station for luggage tags and passports. We got matching red bucket hats like Paddington and then hit the red carpet with the star of the show.
Of course we wanted to be fully immersed, including our wardrobe, so we turned to Little Goodall X Paddington for the most whimsical party dresses for the girls. These celebrate the timeless charm of Paddington Bear featuring the warm-hearted and adventurous bear himself in the scatter print of Peggy Fortnum’s classic illustrations across soft, blush pink cotton. And of course we had to pair it with the Paddington Station Dress Coat. The charming heirloom quality navy and red coat features the illustrations on the inside lining while having pockets for train tickets or a handkerchief, and the round gold tone buttons feel very dressy and grown-up… like something Judy might wear when going to have tea at a special restaurant in London. We didn’t leave out the boys either! They embraced Paddington through the stunning Bear Sweater that celebrates the 1958 beloved images of Paddington, in his hat and holding his suitcase, by knitting them into the front and back of a classic pullover. Little Goodall has adult versions and more options for both boys and girls, all drool worthy in their Little Goodall X Paddington collection.
In case you couldn’t pick on our love affair with Paddington… a throwback look and how deep our affection runs through all the films… including a handful of years ago when Paddington 2 came out and we hung out with our favorite Hughs — Hugh Bonneville and Hugh Grant — while having tea and eating marmalade sandwiches!
Paddington in Peru comes to theatres on February 14th
