One of our favorite things to do for Mother’s Day is to go out to brunch with our family. We will be the first to admit that we love not having to cook or clean on at least one day of the year! It can be so fun to wear mommy and me matching outfits to brunch and take the opportunity to take some family photos too. From matching maxi dresses to gladiator sandals, we love Joyfolie. There are so many amazing prints and styles for whatever occassion you and your mini me might be attending. We love the Claudia Maxi dress. With the halter neck and open back, we think this outfit is great for brunch or date night too. Joyfolie completes the look with mommy and me matching shoes too. Mommy & Me Matching DIY
We recently saw the most adorable mommy and me denim jackets online. We found the patches online at Bull Shoals Etsy shop. We love this mommy and me look because it is something you can create together with your son or daughter. Simply take an old jean jacket or find one at a thrift store. Then, get the patches, add pins, puff paint or even distress them to make them your own. You could even do embroidery embellishments on the jacket. We love creating things with our kiddos. It is a fun shared experience and then you can wear what you created together and reminisce on the experience.
