Twenty five Marvel characters on one epic quest… this is the premise for the action-packed Marvel Universe Live! Age of Hereos show.
It’s a legendary battle to defend the universe from evil. It brings together Spider-Man, the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy who join forces with Doctor Strange in a race against time to recover the Wand of Watoomb before it falls into Loki’s hands.
We took the whole family to an advance showing so we could experience it first-hand. Feld Entertainment collaborated with Marvel Entertainment from concept to production.
My little guy was partial to Spider-Man, especially because he swings through the audience and onto the stage. But he had a blast seeing all the iconic Super Heroes and villains performing high-energy stunts. And he jumped right out of his seat when he saw a handful of motorcycles take stage in one f the sequences performing world-class tricks. There are also aerial maneuvers, fire, and pyrotechnics in this an original adventure.
One of things I found fascinating was the huge video screen that is the length of the stage so you literally feel transported from outer space, to New York City, and all the other locations as we try to save the world.
The show is about an hour and a half plus a fifteen minute intermission. I think it is great for all ages, my two-year-old sat through the whole show but I think the sweet spot would probably around 4 years old.
