LEGOLAND Brick or Treat 2026: The Ultimate Family Guide to Halloween at LEGOLAND California

LEGOLAND® California’s annual Brick-or-Treat Halloween celebration is back—and this is one of our family’s favorite fall traditions! If your kids love LEGO, Halloween, candy and rides, Brick or Treat is one of those family outings that makes for a seriously fun fall day. The 2026 celebration brings back all of the things families love about Brick or Treat—trick-or-treating, LEGO monsters, Halloween entertainment, costume fun and festive decorations—while adding some exciting new experiences.

This year, families can explore the ALL-NEW Brick or Treat Street, featuring six life-sized LEGO Monster homes, a new interactive Halloween light trail and plenty of tricks, bricks and treats. And there’s another big reason to visit this year: LEGO® Galaxy and the Galacticoaster are getting a Halloween makeover, with special seasonal elements for the indoor family coaster.

Brick or Treat takes place on select dates from September 19 through November 1, 2026, including September 19 and 26, October 3–4, 10–11, 17–18, 24–25, October 31 and November 1.

What’s New at LEGOLAND Brick or Treat 2026?

ALL-NEW Brick or Treat Street & LEGO Monsters

This is the big new addition for 2026, and we’re excited to check it out. Brick or Treat Street is an interactive trick-or-treat experience featuring six life-sized LEGO Monster homes inspired by fan-favorite LEGO Minifigures. Kids can explore the monster homes and discover what tricks, bricks and treats are waiting behind each door. There’s also a new interactive Halloween light trail, adding even more lights, visual effects and Halloween atmosphere to the experience. We recommend doing this when you first get to the park as the line can get long. Check the LEGOLAND app for when this attraction opens.

Brick or Treat brings some of our favorite LEGO Monsters out for Halloween, including the NEW LEGO® Wacky Witch and LEGO® Skeleton Guy. There are also plenty of other monster meet-and-greets throughout the park, along with live Halloween entertainment and shows. The Monster Meet & Greet Hub features characters including Monster Rocker, Tiger Woman and Mummy, while other experiences include Spider Lady, Monster Scientist and the Skeleton Brass Band.

Here are our tips to make your LEGOLAND Brick or Treat 2026 visit extra sweet.

  1. Take advantage of all the deals for Brick or Treat. LEGOLAND® is offering quite a few discounts, and you can check out the latest here. We recommend that if your family doesn’t get to the park that often, to do a full day if you can. This will give you ample time to ride rides and check out Mini-land. There are so many special and unique things that are part of Brick-or-Treat that once the event starts, you will want to be a part of those festivities. It can also get pretty busy for Brick-or-Treat, so anticipate lines being a little bit longer.
  2. Dress up! Make sure you check the weather report as you plan your costumes. If your children want to ride rides, you may want to have a costume that isn’t too bulky or that would be uncomfortable on any of the rides. Check out the event page to see what the themes are for the costume contest.
  3. Take in a show. The shows are a great opportunity to slow down, take a break, and have a snack or dinner. Make sure to get to the show 10-15 minutes early, as the shows fill up pretty quickly.
  4. Explore the park. In addition to all of the fun treat stations, there are lots of fun photo opportunities and characters spread out throughout the park to take your photos with. The park is decorated with fun lights and pumpkins, too, making for a festive backdrop for any photo. Some of our favorite spots in Miniland even had some spooky additions. Don’t forget to do the scavenger hunt that starts in Miniland information booth to earn your special limited edition brick!
  5. Pickup a guide or use the app. There is a special map of all of the Brick or Treat happenings. From festive food to photo stations with characters and building breaks, we appreciate how they have all the details to help you figure out what you want to see and do.
