Kubo and the Two Strings stars Charlize Theron and Matthew McConaughey talk about leaving a family legacy. Theron says:

“When you have kids something changes and all of a sudden it becomes so clear.” Theron continued, “If I can live a life that they are proud of, and their lives are enriched and made better, that would ultimately be my greatest legacy. There is nothing that could come close to that.”

Matthew McConaughey echoed Theron’s sentiments. He said:

“I knew I wanted to be a father since I was eight – long before I knew that I wanted to do what I’m doing now as a career. It’s been everything a more.”

McConaughey also shared how director Steven Spielberg put fatherhood in perspective saying, “you do films, but when you have kids that’s your epic.”
