Pool Noodle Peppermint Lollipops

Using red pool noodles, white masking tape, some hot glue, cellophane and ribbon, you can easily make decor to line your driveway or give a pop to your plants.

  1. We went to the dollar store to get all our supplies. Then we took masking tape and wrapped it around the red pool noodle at an angle to give it the appearance of a candy cane.
  2. Starting we an end, you roll the pool noodle tight in circular motion and hot glue it while you go.
  3. Next you wrap it with in both horizontal and vertical direction with a dozen rubber bands to hold the wheel in place. Set aside to let the glue dry and the wheel to become secure.
  4. Remove rubber bands and then stab it with a stake, or in our case a balloon stick
  5. Cover in cellophane to give the appearance of a candy wrapper. Pull tight at bae and tie with string.
  6. Lastly attach a big bow, we tied and hot glued the bow in place!

Festive Fabric & Wrapping Runners

The holidays means gathering around the table. But sometimes tablecloths can be expensive and if you are doing back to back meals or gatherings it can sometimes be difficult to clean and reset. One of our favorite hacks is using festive fabric we used this adorable holiday print from Rifle Paper. Top it with wrapping paper which can be easily tossed if it gets dirty or recycled into wrapping presents. Rifle Paper has some of the cutest holiday prints that will make any table extra festive!

  1. Find a piece of fabric. It can be festive, a plain color or print.
  2. Top the table with wrapping paper. You can use it to cover entire table or make it into a runner.
  3. You can even use coordinating prints/patterns to overlap and create a festive look.
  4. Add holiday decor like platters, flowers or nutcrackers to bring life to the table.

Laundry Basket Burlap Base

Literally as easy as it sounds. Grab everything from the dollar store… a laundry basket and several rolls of burlap ribbon. Weave it through the holes and when you’re done, you have a burlap base for anything from a tree to a plant.

You can use different types of ribbon, spray paint the basket to match or even decorate the top. Get as creative as you’d like and even switch it our with different seasons.
