In the hustle bustle of the holiday season, finding the right gift can be a challenge, so we’re getting creative and sharing ideas for the hostess at heart, the neighbors, family and more.
HOLIDAY HOSTING, PRODUCE DELIVERED TO YOUR DOOR
For the person who loves to host, or entertain guests, give the gift of Melissa’s Produce. From organic mixed boxes shipped nationwide to gift baskets, wine or specialty items, this is a great go-to. We love the idea of taking it a step further and turning the ingredients into showpieces that are delicious while you host.
We tried a few fun ideas we saw on social and were thrilled with the outcomes. We turned pineapples into Christmas trees, strawberries and basil into a Christmas tree and added other favorite fruits for a beautiful serving platter, of course topped off with powder sugar to give the effect of snow.
It was super simple to make a caprese wreath as well. We laid a bed of basil in a wreath shape, then sprinkled tomatoes and fresh mozzarella balls, to look like ornaments, and then drizzled olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Delicious and Melissa’s Produce allowed for it all to come together with ease.
FROM SANTA TO THE GRINCH, IT’S TIME TO GROOM
From the green fur of the Grinch, to Santa’s thick white beard… the holiday icons know about grooming and we turn to Gentlemen’s Nod as the perfect solution for men… as it’s a personal care line with historical context. Shaving never felt and smelled so good.
COOKIE EXCHANGE WITH HOLIDAY HELPERS
Baking is a must during the holidays and kids always want to be little helpers… so whether it’s the gift of baked goods to neighbors, bread, or an elaborate cookie exchange, we love the Ergobaby 3-in-1 Evolve.
It can transform from high chair, to chair, to kitchen tower… this makes it great for families with kids at any stage, and growing! The kitchen tower is perfect for our daughters to be at counter height for cracking eggs, mixing and stirring… plus it’s sturdy and safe way to bake!
DIY PHOTO GIFTS AND TAGS FROM YOUR HOME PRINTER
Get creative this holiday season and get the whole family involved in making photo gifts and tags for others. We used to think our printer is for work and making copies, but a new world was unlocked when we switched our way of thinking and now we use our printer as a photo center to easily print out pictures, printable and to create thoughtful gifts.
We use the HP Envy Printer, but you can use your own home computer, and take photo paper, print pictures and then use those to create family ornaments, frames or even gift tags. We love selecting a photo from a trip or special memory, printing it out and pairing it with a unique frame.
Another fun idea is to print out photos from all of the holiday adventures and use washi tape and stickers to create fun borders. This is something easy that kids can do and makes a thoughtful gift for others. We also love that HP has lots of fun printables for the holiday season. They have gift tags and photo ornament templates, plus lots more to explore and create.
