PERSONALIZED EGG HUNT BASKET
Families love a good hunt for eggs, so personalize a basket — or in this case, a tote bag — with everything needed for a hunt and beyond. DIY your own stickers to put on colored eggs, create shirts that can double as a craft since you can actually color them, turn dollar-store finds into showpiece signs, tags and glasses with your kids names on them too! From bags tags to bunny hunt signs and shirts, we used our Cricut Joy Extra to help us add a personal touch to our basket. Don’t worry about needing to be an expert designer, we love the Cricut design studio because it has lots of inspiration and templates to use. For our egg hunt, we printed and cut stickers with the Cricut Joy Extra and Cricut sticker paper. The kids then used the stickers to decorate the eggs. The stickers are also great to put into the baskets. We switched out the baskets and made personalized totes. Using the Design Space we took a pre-made design and added the names of the kids. It was so easy. We used Cricut Smart Iron-on Glitter Prismatic to add a little spark to the project too. We opted for totes so that they could use it beyond the hunt. The Cricut Joy Extra makes it create and cut even the most intricate designs.

VACATION MODE BASKET
Swap your basket for a beach bag and surprise the family with a vacation! One thing we love to do whenever we take a vacation is to learn more about the culture of that place. When you are in Maui, many of the hotels in the Kanaapali Beach area offer free or inexpensive ways to immerse yourself in Hawaiian cultural experiences. Traditions that are found no where else in the world and some of the unique activities are fire knife demonstration, lei making workshops, coconut weaving class and more! Our families not only enjoyed these activities but we loved hearing the rich meaning behind each of these traditions.

BEAUTY BASKET
Of course we love pastels at Easter but a bright pop of color is fun too! Beauty lovers would gladly take bright shadow palettes, brushes, and LED lights over candy and coins any day. So fill up this basket with face favorites, but also branch out and try vibrant colors and trends that allow make-up and skincare to be a highlight of your day. Macy’s is our go to for all our beauty gifts. We picked out some MAC eye shadow palettes and paired them with some fresh brushes. Don’t forget to add the Make-up eraser to your basket too! It’s a reusable cloth that removes makeup simply by adding water. Another fun idea to put into the basket is to put a gift certificate for a makeover. We love going into Macy’s and going to the make up counters to have the staff show us the latest techniques and trends. Or if you want to give the gift of a makeover at home, the LED face mask is a great option too.
