Get Crafty: DIY Easter Fun
Springtime can have it share of rainy days. So we loved having some arts and craft ideas on hand to keep those bunnies busy! Faber Castell is a main stay in our house. They have our supplies as well as prepackaged kits to make all of your craft and art ideas come to life. For Easter, we made some fun Easter bunny place settings. We took the free printable that they have online trace it on some festive paper, used the rainbow fluffy paint to create bunny tails and then we put some money pom-poms. It was also a little sensory experience creating this art piece.
We love the idea that they have posted on their website to use colored pencils metallic markers or metallic crayons to create your Easter eggs. As much as we love dying Easter eggs when you use pencils it gives you the ability to be more detailed and use more colors in your design.
Edible Art: Cookie Painting
Art you can eat! Painting the cookie canvas was such a delicious way for them to be creative which is just one of the reasons why we love Color My Cookie. This Easter we wanted an activity the whole family could do together, and we even made a whole afternoon out of it and invited over friends, so we turned to painting cookies with the Hopster Easter and Easter Babies Decorating Kits

And we just adore their “Smart Cookie” kids aprons, so of course we had to snag a couple to wear while we turn their signature iced shortbreads in our own colorful, edible, creations!
Personalized Patches
We love adding a personalized touch to just about everything! We love Stoney Clover Lane for Target’s new line. From duffel bags and totes to backpacks and fanny packs, the line has so many different options to pick from in a fun hue of pastels. Stoney Clover Lane is known for their fun patches and this line for Target is no exception. It has the traditional letter patches that enable you to personalize the items. You can put a name, nickname or a fun word. The line also has a handful of patch sets like GLAM and STUFF that you can add to pouches. This is a great idea to do as a spring activity before you travel for spring break. Everyone can pick out their travel item like a backpack or fanny pack and customize it for the trip. It gives you a fun craft to do as a group but then you can also pick out your bag amongst everyone else’s when you travel. We think this is an eggceptionally fun activity for those tweens or older kids.
