Easy Easter Cupcakes

Coconut bunnies or sanding sugar chicks, these cupcakes are sure to be a big hit at any Easter egg-stravaganza, a Spring party, or even just a treat for your family.

Coconut Bunnies

Ingredients:

Large marshmallows

Shredded coconut

Pink sanding sugar

Cupcake mix

White frosting

— Bake cupcakes and then let them cool completely

— Frost the tops white

— Using cooking scissors cut diagonally across the marshmallow

— With the “sticky” inside of the cut marshmallow dig that into the pink sanding sugar

— Place them on the top of your cupcake

— Surround them and cover the rest of your white frosting top with shredded coconut

Sanding Sugar Chicks

Ingredients:

Yellow sanding sugar

Cupcake mix

Yellow frosting

Orange frosting

Mini chocolate chips

— Bake cupcakes and then let them cool completely

— Frost the tops yellow

— Dip entire cupcake in yellow sanding sugar

— Use yellow frosting to make “wings” and then sprinkle the yellow sanding sugar on top, shaking off the excess

— Take 2 mini chocolate chips and turn them upside down and place them in the middle for eyes

— Use the orange frosting to make a little beak and also to make feet
