EASTER BRUNCH AND OCEANFRONT CELEBRATING
When it comes to family celebrations or entertaining guests in town, we always turn to two longtime San Diego favorite restaurants that continue to deliver an unforgettable experience: Jake’s Del Mar and Duke’s La Jolla .
We’ve spent many celebrations at Jake’s sometimes we go because we just want the vacation vibe that you get immediately when you set foot in the restaurant. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows with full ocean view, gorgeous sunsets, and literally dining beachfront keeps us coming back. Duke’s overlooks the ocean, has a Barefoot Bar and even live music creating a dreamy escape from the day to day routine.
Be sure to try other signatures like their Duke’s Mai Tai. Our family loves to start with crispy calamari and if you go for the filet, it will be cooked to your perfection every time, and many pair the steak with the a lobster tail or Maine scallops. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items.
And, it’s not a holiday without indulging in Hula Pie — the macadamia nut ice cream stacked high on scrumptious chocolate cookie crust covered in hot fudge, let’s just say your first slice won’t be your last.
