Skip the lines at the mall and have a holly jolly morning with St. Nick enjoying a full brunch with Santa!
We decided to take the whole family, and meet some friends, to Decoy Dockside Restaurant located at the Lakehouse Hotel and Resort on Lake San Marcos. The kids were so excited at the idea of getting to actual spend the morning with Santa… and expectations were exceeded! Immediately upon arrival, Santa came up to us and started having a conversation with the kids. We went over to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the middle of the dining area and took several pictures with St. Nick.
He then escorted us to our table and asked the kids if they wanted to receive a gift. Cheers let out! Santa came delivered age appropriate gifts and they were definitely a hit… as parents I so appreciate that the gifts were quality building blocks and b. brand finger puppets… plus it kept them engaged almost the entire meal. Major bonus!
The setting is gorgeous as Decoy is right on the lake with floor to ceiling glass windows showcasing the water, boats and shining sun. The breakfast spread was so delicious too. All the items you’d want for brunch including our personal favorites, french toast and eggs benedict. An omelette bar, made to order by the chef was great as the kids like their eggs scrambled with cheese and the perfect texture was achieved.
Bring your family to have Brunch with Santa and make a reservation any Saturday and Sunday in December. It runs from 9am to 2pm, $39/adults, $19/children.
