All About Dad! The role of a father has evolved with many men not only providing financially for their families, but taking a much more active role when it comes to caring for the kids, household chores, and play. The current world pandemic, and quarantine had provided an opportunity for more men to work from home and be more present. The dads, and grandpas, of Family Entourage mean so much to us and are a huge support. Quality Time: VESSEL
While the past few month we’ve all been staying at home, many Dads have been even more hands-on when it comes taking care of the kids, making meals, or even bathing and bedtime routines. Raising the “Steaks”: The Butchery
The dad and grandpas of Family Entourage love grilling and have been raising the “steaks” er, their level of involvement with the family, and their love for meat. Whether it’s burgers or a juicy steak, they always love an opportunity to throw something on the grill. When The Butchery opened up, it became a hit with our families. They have fresh meats and seafood and even some specialty items that most other butcher shops don’t carry. Plus they have sauces, rubs, spices and everything else you need to complete your meal. I loved being able to go into the store and get recommendations from the staff on meat and rub suggestions. . In addition to their stores, they also have an online market where you can ship dad some of his favorite meats. They also have signature boxes featuring some of their best selling and specialty meats.
Sweet Celebrations: Hawaiian Shaved Ice
Why only celebrate special occasions or holidays? We think any night the family is together calls for a celebration. And during the summer, Hawaiian Shaved Ice at-home machines make it so easy to indulge in sweet cool treats. We love that even our toddlers could get in on the one-button action and watch as the ice gets shaved into fluffy flakes begging to be combined with an array of flavors. From Coconut to Pineapple, Pina Colada to Strawberry, the family will love the bright colors and immediate feeling of being transported to the Islands. Staycation-mode in full effect!
Better Together: Banana Panda
While businesses have started to “open back up,” social distancing has helped us to slow down and enjoy activities together at home. The dads of Family Entourage have been helpful with learning from home and taking care of the kids in addition to working. Our kids have always loved building things and doing puzzles with the dads and grandpas of Family Entourage. Banana Panda has some great puzzle and activity sets for dad and the kids to work on together. For little ones, they have bigger pieces where they can match animals, numbers or shapes. We love their bright and colorful designs. With the recent launch of SpaceX, our kids have become enamored with all things space. Banana Panda’s Observation Space puzzle is perfect for 5-7 year olds. It comes with a poster which explains the different objects in the puzzles. Our kids then want to learn more about those things, so we look up more background on the planets, rover, or how stars are formed.
