With the holidays here and hosting at an all time high, we wanted to share some simple ways to spruce up your kitchen! And for us, the meant starting with our pantry door.
When we moved into our home there was a single solid wood door to the pantry in a walkway and it was nondescript and not ideal. After we went through labeled, and organzied, the pantry we decided it needed minimalist and timeless look with shaker-style that integrates with the rest of our kitchen cabinets. We choose to include frosted glass and also swapped out all our hardware for a chic satin brass which also is in line the rest of the hardware in our kitchen.
Check out the before and after process:
In order to accomplish the look we took down the original door, kept original door frame but sanded and painted, then painted the new door, cut out holes for new door hardware and installed the satin brass hinges and door knob. Then we installed the new door.
