Here are some of our must-haves when it comes to feeding time!

A Great Pump-There are so many great pumps out on the market and some that will leave you disappointed. Both Kelli and I found having a pump very helpful especially when we went back to work. I am looking forward to trying out Lansinoh’s Smart Pump. The pump not only tracks how much milk you pump but also baby’s activities with the use of its app. With my first child, we used paper and we often forgot to do it. But it is important to track especially for the first few doctor appointments. It also has three customizable pumping styles that mimic baby’s natural feeding pattern. I already love that I can pump directly into the storage bags. With my first pump, I had to transfer from the containers to a storage bag. Let’s just say there were a couple of times that I cried over spilled milk. We love seeing our favorite celebrity moms pumping and feeding their littles!

A Nursing Cover-Nursing covers are great when you are out and about and baby gets hungry. We love the Covered Goods four-in-one nursing cover. They come in lots of great colors and patterns. Check out our review video. It is not only a nursing cover, it can be used as a car seat cover, grocery cart cover, and fashion scarf. We love using it as a car seat cover or shield if you will. Total strangers will want to touch your baby wherever you are. Having a cover over the car seat is a nice barrier that keeps baby inside and germs out, especially during cold/flu season. The grocery cart option is nice as well when baby gets a little older but you don’t want them licking or chewing on the handle bar of the grocery cart.

A Carrier-We love carriers! If you are able to borrow a friend’s carrier before buying, this is a great way to see what you like before you buy. We have found that what works well or fits on one person, might not be the best fit for another. This is especially true between men and women. Kelli shares more about

this in our review video. We are excited to carry baby in the Lillebaby ring sling. Also, don’t get discouraged. Whether it is a ring sling or carrier, ask a friend or specialist at the store to help you put it on. It can be intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it, you will love having your little one close and your hands free. With our first little guy, we were new to the carrier thing and missed the sling stage. We love our Lillebaby toddler carrier that we used with him when he got heavier. Needless to say, we can’t wait to put our sling to use. Lillebaby’s ring slings are made with 100% premium quality linen and are lightweight and breathable. It also has a little pouch which you can throw your keys or other essentials in. It can easily be tossed in a diaper bag because of its compact size too.

A Nursing Pillow-Whether you are breastfeeding or using a bottle, a Boppy is a must! They just came out with some of the cutest prints, so even if you already have a Boppy, add a new cover to your registry. Several moms shared with us the tip of having multiple covers that way you don’t have to worry about one being in the wash when it comes to feeding time. We also enjoy using the Boppy when friends or relatives want to hold or help feed the baby. It provides that extra support under the arms. Our little guy is three and still loves to use his Boppy pillow behind his back when he reads. Boppy has also added the newborn lounger to their line. It is a cozy little spot, where you can place baby down for a hands-free moment.

Bottles

When we were pregnant with our first babies, all of these moms told us about this “magical” teething toy we had to get, Sophie the Giraffe. We were both skeptical, but became believers very quickly. Sophie the Giraffe is made from 100% natural rubber and soothes baby’s sore gums. Check out the time that we lost Sophie! Sophie the Giraffe has also come out with a new bottle line, Mii. The Mii bottles come in glass and BPA-free plastic. The bottles are designed to help feed baby consistently and not without nipple confusion. They are also anti-colic, which we are looking forward to since we had a hard time.

We were gifted Sophie, a Lansinoh pump, Covered Goods, Lillebaby ring sling, and Boppy. We use affiliate links. All of our thoughts and opinions are our own.

Giveaway runs 10/2 and ends 10/17 at 11:59PM PST. Open to US residents. One winner will be selected at random.
